I JUST SIGNED UP FOR A MERKAELA SUBSCRIPTION! WHAT WILL I RECEIVE?

Welcome to the MERKAELA family :) In our Deluxe box, you will receive 6-9 products (Essential box includes 3-5) built on the theme of the season. In addition, you will gain access to our thought-provoking content and a playlist that pairs with the products for that season. Our goal is to provide you with everything you need to be on your way to a holistic approach to a clear mind, body and spirit. (For reference see complete list of products in our Summer Subscription Box "MANIFEST ".)


WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY FIRST SHIPMENT?

SUBSCRIPTION ORDERS: – If we aren’t sold out of the current box , we will ship your box within a week of when you become a Merkaela Member. For subsequent/recurring boxes, we ship late March, June, September, December. If we are unable to charge the credit card on your account, we will inform you that we were unable to process your order and we will wait to send your Merkaela Box until we can get in touch with you or until we see that the billing information has been updated.

SHOP ORDERS – Orders will be processed within a few days you placed your order.


WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE "ESSENTIAL BOX" AND "DELUXE BOX"?

The main difference is that the Essential Box does not include some of the premium products made by us. Most of the Essential Box products support your meditation practice. And the Deluxe box includes products for both your self-care rituals and meditation practice.


WHAT WILL I RECEIVE IF I SIGN UP IN BETWEEN BOXES?

We will continue selling our current box until it is sold out, or until the 30th of November (2019) — whichever comes first. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible, as we have sold out our past three boxes!


CAN I SHOP WITH MERKAELA EVEN IF I DON’T SUBSCRIBE?

Please do! Our Shop is constantly updated with new products, including Bundles, Limited Edition boxes, and so much more. But just so you know, when you become a “MERKAELA MEMBER” you get 15% off on all purchases made via the “ SHOP ”.


IS SHIPPING FREE?

No. Most of our items are put in glass jars which are heavy and needs to be paid separately.

In addition the following will be charged an additional shipping amount:

Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is $10 to cover the extra shipping costs.

Shipping to Canada is $20 to cover the extra shipping costs.


ARE GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes! During checkout, simply check the box for “This is a gift” and enter the address of the recipient in the shipping section.



BILLING QUESTIONS


WHEN WILL I BE BILLED FOR MY MERKAELA SUBSCRIPTION?

If you order today, you will be billed right away to reserve your membership. After that, all quarterly subscribers will be billed on the 15th day of February, May, August, November going forward, or until the membership is paused or cancelled.

Annual subscribers (purchase all four seasons) are charged upon purchase, and then again one year later (e.g. if the first box you receive is the Summer 2019 box, the billing cycle will renew on May 15th, 2020 so you can receive your Summer 2020 box by late June). Of course, you can cancel any time before the billing cycle renews.

Note - We will never bill you twice before receiving your first box.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Quarterly subscribers can cancel their Merkaela subscription(s) at any time. There is no cancellation fee. Quarterly subscribers are billed at the time of purchase, and then on the 15th day of each quarterly shipping month (March, June, September, December) — so the subscription can be canceled or paused anytime before that date to avoid receiving the current Merkaela Box.

Annual subscribers can pause, modify, or cancel their subscriptions anytime before their 12-month cycle renews. Annual subscription cancellation requests will are made effective at end of the annual term. Since annual subscriptions afford a $8 discount for a full year subscription, they are nonrefundable.


HOW CAN I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging in to your account clicking "unsubscribe" on your account page. You can also reach out to us via email at [email protected] to unsubscribe or if you have any questions.



PRODUCT QUESTIONS


HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

All of our products are activated with energetic vibrations through the process of Alchemy. Most of our products are hand-made by Merkaela staff but occasionally include other products sourced from reputable vendors. Merkaela’s botanical products are made using toxic-free, nutrient-rich essential oils, butters, natural herbs and other ingredients meant to nourish the body, mind and spirit. You can find a complete list of ingredients for each product on either the description card found in the boxed set or on our SHOP .


WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

Our hand-made Merkaela-branded products are made in Orlando, FL. Other products featured in the box are sourced from various ethical producers and suppliers throughout the United States.


ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ORGANIC?

We tend to use organic ingredients in most of our products. In the ingredient description, you will be able to clearly see what products are not organic. But even if the ingredient is not specifically organic, it is considered natural, sourced from reputable vendors . For more information check out our definition of natural products.


ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY FREE?

Absolutely. We will never test on animals, and we only source ingredients from companies that do not test on animals. Merkaela is a long time Leaping Bunny supporter. No cruelty comes from making our products! Thanks for asking.


ARE YOUR PRODUCTS VEGAN?

Not 100%. We sometimes use beeswax and/or honey. If you are Vegan we suggest that you choose the Vegan Option.


HOW LONG WILL MY PRODUCTS STAY FRESH?

As with all natural products; heat, ultraviolet light and oxygen break down organic soaps. (also air) Store your products in a cool dry place away from sunlight if not in active use. We recommend that you use the products as soon as possible but our products if kept stored properly have a shelf life of 2 years.


WHAT DOES “SOPANIFIED” MEAN?

Saponified means literally, “turned into soap”. We take organic food grade coconut, olive, and jojoba vegetable oils and turn them into soap. We preserve this with a scentless, organic food grade preservative made from rosemary. We even superfilter the final liquid soap through a variety of mediums to reduce it’s natural soapy aroma.


WHAT ARE YOUR PRODUCTS PACKAGED IN?

Most of our products are packaged in 100% recycled glass jars with 100% recycled metal lids. We sometimes (rarely) have to package in plastic (i.e. lip balms, body wash, etc) but we strive to use the least amount of plastic as possible. Our bottles are recyclable, but we encourage you to refill or reuse them.


WHAT KIND OF PACKAGING DO YOU USE?

We use paper packing materials, cardboard boxes, and paper tape. Our boxes are corrugated cardboard that is 100% recyclable and contains a limited amount of ink. All of our packaging is recyclable.

Yes. If you are buying in bulk you can reach out to us at [email protected] and let us know what you need. Due to the amount of work and additional labor required, all bulk orders that are returned or cancelled are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
